Isaac's Accident.

I am finally getting to blog about this. The last three days...(well, since Monday morning) have been crazy. On Isaac's way home from work on Monday morning he got into a pretty bad accident. He slid off the road, plowing through mail boxes into a ditch and hit a tree. He is okay. Praise God. He is really sore and has some bruises on the top of his head from hitting it on the roof of the car but other than that he is just fine. He had our Envoy, which in a way turned out to be a good thing....because we have that vehicle under full coverage insurance. So Monday and Tuesday was spent dealing with all of the insurance phone calls and handling getting it towed. All the while trying to finish up Christmas shopping and getting things together for our trip this weekend to MI (which I am still not ready for). Another blessing was that we have rental coverage through our insurance so we didn't have to pay out of pocket for that either. (They won't pay for us to get an SUV but at least we have a vehicle that will fit us all.) I had to go and get somethings out of the Envoy this morning and I about broke down in tears when I saw it. The whole front-end of the car is pretty much demolished. I just can't Thank God enough for keeping Isaac safe. I keep trying to tell Isaac that when it comes down to it.....who cares about the car when we still have him. But just keep him in your prayers that he will not keep beating himself up about it and that his muscles and soreness will heal quickly. Thank you so much!
