*Quick Note* The turtle ate for the first time on Friday!!! It was funny. Isaac and I were sitting at the kitchen table and just happened to look over and the turtle had the worm in its mouth. So obviously he will eat that! It took him a little while but he ate the whole thing. Just thought that I would let everyone know. I think maybe it just took a while for him to get adjusted to a new environment.

I am so thrilled to report that we now have our fence put up. We have been talking about fencing our back yard since we got the house in Feb. of 2006. It only took us a little over 2 years to actually do it. We set aside part of our tax return this year to pay for it. It ended up costing us less that we thought. Praise God. And we were so extremely blessed with lots of help. A ton of guys that Isaac works with came and helped. Also, a few guys from our church came. With everyone's help we got the whole thing done in less that two days. It was incredible. If you don't know....our yard it massive (for a subdivision). The fence was over 300 ft. long and if I am not mistaken I think it was 350 ft. So...quite a fence.

As you can tell from the picture our dog is loving being off of the chain. We have felt awful having him on a chain this long. Before we got the fence he was inside the majority of the time and only outside to go pody. He almost always wanted right back in. Today we had him in the yard while we were finishing up some things and he didn't want to go in the house. It was so funny. He kept bringing me his ball. I think I threw it 25 times or so. He is on cloud nine. He was probably thinking, "Its about time!"

This next week will be really busy as well. My mother-in-law and grandmother will be flying in tomorrow evening. The whole family and I will be packing up the rest of mom's things and driving her down to FL on Friday. Then we will get a much needed vacation. We have a ton of things planned while we are there. We are going to Busch Gardens, going fishing in the ocean, we are also planning on maybe going para-sailing. It should be an awesome time! Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and I will update everyone when we get home!!
