I am a complete failure on coming through on blogging about our vacation. It is almost July and I still haven't gotten it done. So I am sorry to say that I am going to just say 'forget it' and try to do better about things coming up. The only excuse that I have, and it is not really a good one, is that everytime I went to blog about it the pictures were being a pain. Either not doing what I wanted to or not loading right and so I just got frustrated everytime. Then I got to the point of dreading blogging about it and blogging is supposed to be fun. So alas......I will try to do better...lol.
But since I am blogging I have to share a funny story. A little over a week ago Avie and I were talking and somehow we got on the subject of her eventually having another sibling. So I asked her what she would rather have another baby brother or a baby sister. She said she wanted both. Lol. I just laughed. Then she asked me if we could get one that day. I proceed to tell her that it takes a long time to have a baby...that mommy would have to grow the baby in her tummy, and that mommy and daddy weren't quite ready to have another baby just yet. So we dropped the subject and I didn't think anything more of it. Until....a few days later we were eating breakfast and she says to me "Mommy, I want to grow a baby in my tummy." I said "No, no you don't have babies until you are much older and after you get married." So then she says to me "Well, mom if I am going to get married I have to have a dress!" I busted out laughing. I couldn't believe that I put myself in the position to have this conversation with my 3 YEAR OLD! I was like, "Okay end of discussion we are not talking about getting married and have babies anymore for a long, long, long time! You are three for goodness sake!" Talk about freaking a mom out. I can barely imagine her being old enough to go to school let alone the fact of getting married and having kids. Goodness! My daughter! I love her! She cracks me up daily!

I was curious if you were going to do the vacation blog ;) But, I totally understand, I get frustrated with the photo thing too! That's why I put most of them up on myspace/flickr :)
Avie is so cute! It's so fun to hear what comes out of their mouths and get a glimpse of what is going through their minds! :)

At least you got away with just telling her about growing babies in tummies. At some point the conversation gets harder.
Take it from me, I tried that "you have to be older and married" thing, Brock bought that for about a second and then proceeded to aske my why my 19 yr old niece had a baby and she was young and unmarried! Darn those smart kids!
To be honest, I've been wondering whether you guys will have more children down the road! We *think* that we'd like to have a third, and he/she would be our last. But we're not sure yet. (Hey, maybe we can coordinate our timing together! haha!) :) But oh wow, yeah, an amazing discussion with a *three* year old. Lucas hasn't brought up anything like that yet. But he tells us that he doesn't have a girlfriend, LOL! :)
Hey, didn't get a chance to talk to you on SUnday, but I wanted to tell you that I love your haircut!! ;) You look so much younger, not that you are old, heck I am older than you. :)
