What a Week!

So most of you know but if you don't my sister-in-law and her husband and their six children left Indiana to move back to FL at the end of April. Well, they sold their home here and were supposed to close on it this week. So they had to come up and pack all of their things and get it out of the house. Well, as you can guess we were all on duty! Only my sister-in-law and one of her children came, plus a two friends (a friend of Heather's and her daughter).
The Hancsak's had SO much stuff, lol! We had a yard sale to try and get rid of most of it, but still had quite a bit left. It was kind of funny we had one of those emergency mid-week yard sales. It worked quite well, though, we still had quite a good turn out. It was mostly her somewhat nosey neighbors that wanted to know what was going on...but it didn't matter to us...they kept buying things! On Wed. it was a full day...we ran the sale from 9:00am until after 7:00pm that night. Then from about 10:00am to 1:30 the next day. It was exhausting! But we got-r-done! Then last night we packed their little U-Haul type trailer to the max with everything they were keeping and sent them on their way. My husband has got to be the most amazing packer in the entire world. He got so much more than we ever expect to fit in that little trailer. Heather was so happy. But now the Hansak's are officially gone. In a way that is very sad.

On top of it all, as you can see from the pics, when I was driving to get Isaac's Father's Day present last night....I got hit! Three cars in front of me stopped short. I got stopped in plenty of time...well the car behind me didn't and crashed right into me. I didn't not even get that close to the person in front of me so I did not even expect the crash. All of the sudden I feel this incredibly hard crash from behind. I hit my head so hard on the back headrest. It scared the crap out of me and I instantly began balling my eyes out. I was absolutely fine...so no worries, but it definitly shook me up. I really feel like my seat belt and the head rest saved me from being injured worse. If the head rest hadn't stopped my head it would have flown back so much farther. I can't imagine. The gentlemen that hit me was really nice and he apologized over and over. He called the police and I called Isaac. The fire department and police came shortly and Isaac was right behind them. My car really wasn't damaged that bad but the front of the other guys car looked awful and he said that he thought it might be totaled. I was just thanking and praising God that no one was really hurt. My neck muscles are a little sore from straining to catch myself. But I am fine. It will be a while before I drive without thinking of it...but that is normal I think.

So today, after a wild week of having Heather here, I am happy to have an agenda of my own. I am going to do some much needed laundry and try and clean my carpets (something that I have been wanted to do for weeks now). And relax my body and brain for some good rest. Sounds so good!!!
