I don't have tons of time to blog today...but some prompting from a sis encouraged me to anyhow. We are leaving for North Carolina today sometime around 3 or 4 pm. I am so super excited about getting to go on a vacation with my husband. The last time my husband and I took an actual vacation was our honeymoon. I have been on trips without him, with the kids several times over the last couple of years (with my mother-in-law) but it is not that same as taking my hubby with me!!! So I don't consider them vacations just because I invision vacation as the 'whole' family! As always when we travel please keep us in your prayers for saftey and that the kids are at peace and that we all will have a wonderful time.
We are going to NC to visit Isaac's father and step-mother. Whom I have only met one time for about 5 minutes at Isaac grandmother's funeral over a year and a half ago. So, understandably, I am a little nervous. We are also going get to see Isaac's sister Sybil who lives with them right now. I am hoping that we are going to have an excellent time and that I won't be uncomfortable at all. Hopefully they will fall in love with the kids and we will all have a great time.
Other than that the only other news is that Zeke is really really close to walking. He is now taking about 3 steps or so and lunging at us. He is really trying hard. So he could possibly be walking by the time we get back!! That would be so cool!! He is so heavy, I am ready for him to walk on his own!! :-)
