My little girl is 3 today!! I can hardly believe that it has been three years. Time goes so quickly. She has totally cracked me up the last few months approaching her birthday. She really understands the concept this year. In Jan. we visited some of Isaac's family in FL. One of Isaac's nephews had a kids digital camera and she got to use it. She loved it!!! It was so cute! Then she told me that she wanted one. Well, I proceeded to tell her that mommy and daddy would contemplate getting her one for her birthday. Let me tell you.....she does not forget. Almost every other week (sometimes once daily) she was telling me not to forget that she wanted a camera for her birthday. Then sometime later she said she wanted a new pair of sunglasses. So since then she has not let me forget that she needs a camera and sunglasses for her birthday. She is a riot. So needless to say her daddy and I couldn't let her down with her heart so set on it. Today she will get to open her Crayola Digital Camera and her new Hannah Montana sunglasses!! I also, being the more practical mom that I like to be, got her some new clothes. But I am sure the real prize will be opening the camera and the sunglasses. I can't wait to upload some pictures that she takes. It will be good fun!
This weekend we are having a birthday party for her. She, of course, asked for it to be Dora themed. We thought about going princess this time but in the end Dora won out. She also has requested Ice Cream Cake. Daddy is so excited because that is his favorite. I don't really care for cake, ice cream or otherwise, so it makes no difference to me. It should be fun nonetheless.

Aww, she's beautiful Lois! I love her hair. I can't believe she's 3! That's so awesome, I can't wait for more pictures :) I wondered if she was still into Dora, or not :)

So cute! Our boys just got digital cameras also. I can't wait until they start taking pictures of other things and stop taking so many of me! I'll have to post some of their work too!

Where did you get the name Avril? Avril Lavigne? I do love the name. I had no idea that was her first name. I always wondered what Avie was short for. :) Now I know. :)
